Ken & Donna Stolpman

Resident were asked to bring covered dishes and it was all delicious.

Nick Stepchinski helps out by carving up the meat for serving.

Ken Stolpman called the pit the pig was roasted on a "Cajun Microwave"!
If you look at the photos above you will see the cover for the pig roaster and the Explorers helping remove the pig from the Cajun Microwave.

It was a real "Luau Out" evening as some folks were dressed for the occasion.

Juanita Johnstone (on the far right) made sure everyone got to meet the new youth pastor Seth & his wife Allison, for Faith Community Church in Bayou Vista.

Bayou Vista Police Explorers is a youth development program chartered though Learning for Life.  Learning For Life is a subsection of the Boy Scouts of America. Young men and women who are in the 9th grade through 20 years of age are eligible to join the group.
They were trying to raise money for fu
ture trips. The table they had set up had bake goodies, tickets to a car/boat wash, and a split the pot.

In the above photos
Bayou Vista Police Explorers
read off the winner's name, Ray King, from the split the pot ticket. An auction was also done for some of the baked goods.
Below is a photo of Ken & Donna Stolpman who deserve a big pat on the back for all the hard work getting the pig roasted and helping organizing the evening.
