Driving Golf Carts in BV - Requirements

All registration is done at the Galveston County Tax Office in any of the County Courthouse Annex buildings. There is one on HWY 6 in Santa Fe and one in Texas City off Texas Avenue.
You will need to fill out an application for a certificate of title - both buyer and seller must sign this form.
You will need to fill out a form to register your cart as a slow moving vehicle. This requires signature of buyer only
You will need to provide a bill of sale for the cart. This will be surrendered at the time of registration..
You must attach your license plates to the cart and an orange slow moving vehicle emblem must be attached to the rear of the vehicle.
